In May I traveled to Thailand spontaneously. That’s right. With just about a couple weeks notice.
It was the perfect remedy. I needed to gather my thoughts, and that I did. I wrote about this here.
Seriously one of the best decisions that I made this year. This is my favorite Instagram picture from the month of May.
I just have to share my absolute favorite dress of 2017. This draped beauty was bought in London. The basket and CÉLINE sunglasses are huge favorites as well.
I did promise you never-before-seen pictures. Here you go. In June we decided to rebuild the terrace, and John went all-in. Glass railing, floor spots, outdoor lamps and an outdoor electricity outlet. He totally blasted the budget, to put it that way…
Another shot from our new terrace, in Birkenstocks, which I lived in this summer.
This year our cat had kittens! Although it was a lot of work, I am glad that James got to learn how to care for and live with small animals at a young age.
I love this outfit from Lindex. ♥ This picture and the kitten picture tie as my favorite Instagram picture of June 2017. 🙂
We kickstarted our summer holidays in the South of Norway. It is so beautiful there!
This year we also went on our first real summer holiday as a family. We spent it in Croatia. The year before I was in the process of changing jobs, and the year before that we spent the whole summer renovating our home. James learnt the word “ferie” which means holiday and now he asks us all the time when we are going back on holiday. He loved it. We loved it.
This is my favorite Instagram picture from July, from my favorite city in Croatia.
James started at a kindergarten for 3-5 year olds in August. He is such a good kid.
September became increasingly busy. I traveled to northern Sweden with Marina Kereklidou, the Creative Director of Synsam. It was a cool experience.
I found my favorite hotel in Stocholm: Hotel at Six.
Definitely my favorite Instagram picture of September 2017!
In October I played around with customizing my glasses and sunglasses. I am going to do a lot more of that in 2018.
I also travelled to Lebanon with my work, which was another amazing experience. You can read more about why I traveled to Lebanon here.
November was a blur of hectic activity. In the middle of it all we spent a long weekend in the South. I saw the most beautiful sunset and all was good again.
This year was the first year that James truly understood the concept of Christmas. He loved spending time with his cousins.
The very last pic was posted on Instagram just 5 days ago. A whole year worths of pictures have now been summarized. It has been quite the year!
I hope that my little summary was enjoyable! I have so many wonderful plans and goals for 2018. I hope that you follow along once in a while. ♥
