In collaboration with ELLOS
One of my favorite things to do in the late summer is to prepare all of the things that James needs for kindergarden. It’s like reliving my own childhood! I still remember the yearly ritual as a child and the warm, fuzzy feeling I got inside from picking out a brand new backpack, clothing and shoes for the upcoming school year.
Ordering items online has made this yearly ritual completely stress free. James already has quite a few opinions about what he likes to wear, so we sit down in front of my laptop together and pick out items that we both like. This cute sweater from ELLOS was 100% chosen by him – and he loves it. I order items from ELLOS every year, because their own brand items are made in good quality materials, and because they have other favorite kids brands as well. I get everything I need in one order. The excitement is palpable when we package arrives, and packing out all of his brand new things for the coming year is a treat for us both.
Just like every other kid, James comes home most days completely covered in dirt and mud. I get a plastic bag with his soaking clothing and his rain gear to be washed and handed back the next morning. This year I smartened up and bought two sets of rain gear for him, so that I dont have to stress about getting his stuff cleaned at 9 pm before my bedtime. This year I ordered ELLOS own-brand rain gear for the first time. I must say I am very pleased with the rain gear! Their price point is affordable and the rain gear boasts of good design in the form of air ventilation shafts and reflectors for safety.
I buy several pairs of jeans joggers from ELLOS every year, because they are made in a thick, stretchy material that lasts very long. I usually only throw out James’ jeans when he gets holes in them. Their ELLOS SHOES collection for kids is also great!
Here is the second set of rain gear that I ordered from REIMA! I chose this set for him in classic yellow, because I love him in yellow. ♥
Thanks for reading and I hope that you enjoyed reading this as much James and I enjoyed making this. As you can see by our clothing choices, I don’t try to dress him up like a little mini-adult. He’s a kid, and he should dress like a kid. These items are warm, functional, waterproof and comfortable to wear.
